Please be sure to check out my other auctions for other vintage Jain carnival glass pieces. Jain glass was made in India beginning in the 1930's. Rare and highly sought after. 's a quite lovely vase in the "Goa" pattern. This unusual one is very dark, with the marigold going right up to the ruffles. The vase measures 6 1/2" tall. Nice irridescence. The designs around the middle are very clear and crisp. Small, tight ruffles. Overall great condition with no chips or cracks. Does have some waviness in the glass in the neck w it joins the body of the vase. Might want to give it a gentle bath and t you go. A fabulous display item!!
