EXCLUSIVELY FOR ROBIN-Vintage FEATHER WREATH Quilt HAND EMBROIDERED & HAND QUILTED at 10sti RIBBONS ROSES DESIGNS.This was entirely hand made, never having been used. You can still see the pale faint pencil lines of the pattern here and there. The center medallion is a large Feather Wreath with 6 small roses and 1 larger rose at the very center. That is encircled by an elaborately quilted scalloped design with 12 embroidered roses. Additional Roses with Ribbon Bows are at the four corners beyond the feather wreath and more roses are scattered across the pillow turn-over and also along the scalloped edge of the quilt.The quilting patterns are beautifully and all perfectly hand quilted at 10 stitches to the inch. There is outline quilting all around the embroidery and quilting of leaves and vines between all of the embroidered roses and ribbons and cloud quilting all around the scalloped edge. The rest of the quilting is done in a 1" grid pattern.Good quality white cotton fabric on the front with light tan hand embroidery in a cotton floss, the reverse is a pale yellow cotton. The quilt haws a light weight batting. It is all quilted by hand at a fine 10 stitches to the inch and has a knife edge hand stitched edge.Never been used, the quilt is clean and in excellent condition.Size: 104" x 92"
