Embraer EMB-145XR 1:48 wooden scale model - ExpressJet/Continental Express You are bidding on a 1:48 wooden scale model of an Embraer EMB-145XR operated by ExpressJet Airlines, dba Continental Express. This high quality model was produced in Brazil by the Embraer Aircraft corporation themselves and brought back from the factory with one of the new aircraft. It is hand-painted with a glossy finish. The stained-wood pedestal does not have any engraved plates so this can be customized to anyone's liking. This model is quite large and makes a great display piece and/or Christmas present for anairline pilot or airline enthusiast. The wingspan is over 16 inches andthe length of the model nearly 2 feet long. I am the original owner and have had the model on my shelf for 3-4 years. The model is in excellent condition with the exception of some minor discoloration of some of the gold stripes in the paint scheme. Sun discoloration? Not sure - this model was never exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time. Nevertheless, that is the only disclosure necessary and the aforementioned problems are only noticeable upon close-up inspection. Reserve price for this auction is $75.
