Up for bid is this sensational vintage Weimar Germany cobalt blue porcelain vase with a gold roses on a white background,and beautiful gold highlights, manufactured by Weimar Porzellan, Germany. A stunning cabinet piece in excellent condition. measures 7 3/4 inches tall x 3 3/4 inches wide at the top. The research I have done, (/thuringia/blankenhain_1/00.php) shows the marks to be from C.1948. I have not been able to determine the pattern name but the base has numbers on it, as shown in my pictures. If anyone can tell me it would be appreciated please contact me. It is in beautiful condition, with no cracks, scratches or chips. It is a very elegant, and beautiful item that would be perfect for your collection or use.
