This beautiful chocolate pot bears the red and green wreath and star mark of the incomparable German firm RS Prussia. This mark was in use between 1905 and 1910.The pot is composed of fine thin translucent porcelain in RS Prussia's mold 704 - an elegant and distinctive shape with a ruffled edge and an intricate handle.The pattern is a lovely presentation of gold scrollwork and pink roses.The chocolate pot is in good condition with no chips, scratches, cracks, stains or repairs. There is noticeable wear to the lid and to the gold trim throughout, and a minuscule underglaze nick on the upper edge that is barely visible but can be felt.The pot is 8 1/2 inches tall, measured from the tip of the spout, and 7 1/4 inches wide, measured between the tip of the spout and the far end of the handle.Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
