Extensive QV onwards GB Collection in Stanley Gibbons Davo I Album 1840-1996 Description: A Stanley Gibbons I album in very good condition containing and extensive mint and used GB collection from QV onwards to 1996. The album holds the complete range of pages for the period (Page 1 to 133) plus approximately another 30 pages for Regionals, Postage Dues, Officials etc. The first 15 or so pages in the album are shown along with the postage dues etc. The collection continues with a well filled pre-decimal section of ordinary issues (early phosphors are sparse but it improves from 1965 onwards) and a nearly complete used range (about 20 gaps) from 1971 definitives to 1985. The period from 1985 to 1996 is about 40%-50% filled. There is then a good range of 1972 to 1996 used definitives (60% filled), 16 officials, a good range of dues and then a 60% filled Regional section. A great deal on offer plus the value of the album. There is also a slipcase with the album which is a bit scuffed but has done a good job of protecting the album.
