Presented for your viewing pleasure and inspection is this extra large LIMOGES turkey platter - from the Wm. Guerin porcelain company in France. This particular beauty was purchased from the Gimbel Brothers Company by my grand-mother, approximately 80 years ago, to the best of my recollections. It is is mint condition, considering the age. The size is 13-1/2 inches in width and 17 inches in length. It is, indeed, a beautiful piece. T are gold bars, approx. one inch in length circling the entire platter. Between those bars are small groups of pink flowers and pale green leaves. It is free of any dings, chips or hurts of any kind. My family must have secluded this piece of the set away from inquisitive eyes and hands!
