PRIMITIVE GRUNGY SNOWMAN WITH QUILT BAG AND MITTENS Hi, Welcome to my auction!! Thany you for stopping by!! I just love how this guy turned out!! He is very prim and grungy!! A big Thank You to Becky at Tennessee Ridge Primitives for this wonderful pattern!! His body is made from heavily tea stained and painted warm and natural batting. The face is hand stitched with black floss. He has slightly rosy cheeks and a "carrot" nose also made from warm and natural. His stick arms hold a quilt bag and prim tag on one side and a pair of mittens on the other. The quilt bag is made from an old quilt that is heavily tea stained and filled with chenille candy canes, sweet annie, artificial red berries and ivory pip berries. The bag is tied with tea stained floss and has a rusty jingle bell attached with a rusty safety pin. The chenille candy canes are nice and grungy and sprinkled with German glass glitter. The grungy tag reads "LET IT SNOW 1876". The mittens are made from heavily stained red ticking with warm and natural trim. A piece of tea stained jute is attached to the mittens and hung over his twig arm. He has a grungy old crow attached to the shoulder of his heavily staned old quilt vest.
