An EXTREMELY RARE 1959 " Demonstration Sample Not For Sale " UK 7" single by Bill Haley And His Comets "Skokiaan" Side 2 is blank (there are grooves but the only sound is a continuous "hum" on the Brunswick record label 108124 Matrix numbers : Side 1 - 45-108124-1C, stamper "1" at 9 o'clock; Side 2 - none but stamper number "5 1" stamped vertically at 9 o'clock The overall condition of this record is VERY GOOD +. There are some surface only scuffs, marks and just a few very light (surface only) scratches on both sides of the vinyl, but the vinyl itself has retained much of it's original gloss. The front side label is in EXCELLENT condition and has a manually stamped number 5818. The audio quality is also at least very good with no skips, It comes with the original Brunswick outer sleeve. Apart from some "Rock Around The Clock" reissues, "Skokiaan" was Bill Haley's last US/Billboard hit so really does represent a bit of rock 'n roll history, and the the fact that this is a demonstration copy only adds to it's overall interest and scarcity. A must for any serious rock 'n roll collector. A bit about myself : I have been collecting UK vinyl for over 40 years and have a huge collection. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent Description: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packag�ing might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good Description: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable sur�face marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Good Description: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. Fair Description: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for prop�erly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor Description: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
