is a buffalo skull from my private collection. I work at a buffalo processing plant is SD. I have sold skulls on ebay for 8 years. I have kept the bigger skulls, as I think they are something special. I took a look and decided I did not need this many skulls so I am selling them on ebay. This skull has the "look". It has the long, heavy horns that collectors look for on an old bull skull. The real way to tell a very large skull from a smaller one is by the weight. This guy weighs in at just over 18#-a large, mature buffalo bull skull. Each horn caps is 1.8#+ lbs. The horns are 17" from base to tip. The horn tips are 23" apart at their tips and are 28" wide at their widest. This makes for one beautiful skull. The eye sockets are 13.5" wide at their widest. The circumference of each horn is 13 ". The horn caps are about one-half inch thick. A 2 yr. old buffalo bull will have horn caps that are 1/8 inch thick. This skull has it all. It has wide, long, heavy horns. It has the mass.
