You are looking at an early and rare anime (Japanimation) Captain Herlock action figure specifically produced for the Japanese market. I assume the figure to be from the late 70's, judging by the card drawing that Matsumoto created in 1978.The figure is in VG condition, is about 5" tall and is complete with blaster, helmet visor and stand. The card is quite worn considering it is almost 30 years old. The plastic housing the figure is quite damaged. What a find though, for the anime action figure collector! I have NEVER seen another like it! I am not sure WHO the character is, but one can truly see how anime has evolved thru the years. Also, the paint on the figure has remained colorful and is not faded. A RARE treat for the avid collector. GOOD LUCK and bid well!!
