This is a post war 70 mm Reconnaissance camera, as fitted to various military aircraft for low level high speed recording, made by AGI, of Croydon, makers of various AGI cameras, like the Agifold, and Agiflex. It has a pair of Carl Zeiss 38 mm f4.5 Biogon lenses, similar to those fitted to wide angle Hasselblad cameras. I have never used this camera, so I can't be sure it is in good working condition, but I bought it some years ago from the British Ministry of Defence and I've no reason to suppose there is anything wrong with it. It doesn't have a magazine, which would have been for 70 mm film. See /cameras/post_ww2_allied_cameras.html for a description It weighs 6 kg before packing. Postage and packing within the U. K. will be £20.00 by standard parcel service. If it goes abroad, the cost will also depend on its final destination and could be as much as £100. In any case, I'll keep the cost to the minimum. ercome image movement under these conditions, high shutter speeds combined with a rapid rate of shutter firing and film transport were embodied in the camera systems. reconnaissance reconnaissance they were designed for high-speed, low-altitude, oblique reconnaissance photography.
