This is a fabulous vintage (circa 1950's-1960's according to my jeweler) Mid Century modern Sterling Silver hand made large 3 dementional abstract pendant necklace. The piece weighs 40.5 grams. The piece is not marked but was acid tested by my jeweler and guaranteed to be Sterling Silver. This was definitely made by a skilled artistian. The abstract pendant measures 3 inches long by 2 1/2 inches wide at the widest point. The necklace has a 16" drop to the bottom of the pendant. The chain itself is about 26" inches long. The necklace is all one piece with No clasp. The hand wrought bar links measure 1 1/8" inches long and are held together by unusual "C" shaped links with tiny balls on the the ends. I have just given it a light cleaning with a polishing cloth. There is one very small black mark on the backside of pendant which I could not get off with the polishing cloth. I am sure with some sterling cleaner it could be removed. The piece is in very nice condition.
