This wonderful vintage Mexican Silver necklace has twenty-one beautiful oval cabochon stones set in deep silver bevels. The stones include vivid purple Amethysts, warm iridescent Tiger Eye, soft green Jadite (? or Jade?), what appears to be Rhodonite - a deep red stone with black inclusions and one deep blue Lapis. Each link measures approximately 11/16 inches long by 7/16 inches wide. It measures 15 3/4 inches long (wearable lenght) weighs a hefty 53.8 grams and has a tight box style clasp. It is a well constructed necklace with no dings, dents or damage and the stones are chip free and secure. It is marked with the initials MMM and the eagle mark. (the eagle mark was used begining in the 1940's and indicates an item was at least 925 silver or sterling and made in either Mexico or Taxco). This is a gorgeous vintage Deco necklace with classic style that looks fabulous on!
