Check out my other items !Be sure to add me to your favorites list !EXTRAORDINARY 1840 ANTIQUE ROCKINGHAM HARKER POTTERY HOUND HANDLED & STAG TOBY MUG Up for auction is this extraordinary antique Rockingham glaze brown ware toby mug. The engraving on the bottom of the mug reads “Rockingham Harker 1840 U.S.A.”. The handle is a hound. The raised decoration of the mug has 2 stags grazing surrounded by flowers, plants and trees. The top of the mug and hound has glaze dripping in the color of white, light mint green and a tan color. It measures 5” tall, the opening is 3” in diameter and it is 6” wide including the handle. The toby mug won 3rd place at the county fair. It is in excellent condition. I have 2 other mugs similar to this one that was included in the 3rd place prize and I will be listing them in the next few days. The decoration is the same, but the glaze drippings are different. I also have a Rockingham pitcher up for auction at this time also. I will be happy to combine shipping and waiting till all auctions are over. If you have any questions, please e-mail me.
