From Fontanini's more colorful collection comes the 4 inch male vendor selling his wares in the open market. The Man is holding a pineapple and his cart is so detailed that you can even see the rivets in the wheel and along the side boards. He is hard at work calling in potential customers from the crowd. The Man has the words Depose Italy, the spider mark and the number 290 on the bottom of the green base. The base of this now retired sculpture is 3.5 inches wide and the man is 4 inches from bottom of his bare feet to the top of his hat. This unique piece is highly detailed, very colorful and a beautiful sculpture made out of a hard rubber material. This fabulous figure is in perfect condition and would be a wonderful and rare addition to your nativity collection. The name Fontanini has been associated with quality craftsmanship for decades and I certainly cherish mine. But it is time to dust out the attic and make my treasures available to a new home. Fontanini The Collectible Creche has become a family tradition .... in many ways.
