super neat antique compass with 4 magnifying glass lenses! the compass and lenses all work, and the compass has a blued needle. all magnifiers can be flipped open or closed. and the mirror on the back might have been used for signalling or using sunlight to start a fire - really cool item... it appears to be made of bakelite - to simulate ivory - but could be celluloid, i'm no expert. measures 4" closed, 6 1/2" open. could be victorian... there are no returns, so please ask before you bid. payment is expected within 3 days of auction's end. if you'd like insurance, please add $3 to the shipping.please see my other auctions for many more unusual and wonderful items...thankyou for your interest and happy spring!
