We specialise in Bakelite, Lucite, Phenolic and other forms of early plastic as well as Mauchline Ware Highland Stoneware and University crested match strikers ITEM : AN ART DECO PEDESTAL BOWL BEING HELD IN THE HANDS OF A STYLISED DANCING LADY. DESCRIPTION : THE BOWL IS MADE FROM PRETTY BROWN & BLACK FLECKED BAKELITE AND THE UPRIGHT LADY DANCING, HOLDING THE BOWL, IS MADE FROM SOLID CHROME PLATED WHITE METAL AND THE BASE, HOLLOW CHROME. DATING FROM : 1930/40s BRANDING : NONE. MEASUREMENTS approximate: Stands overall 8 inches, the aperture diameter of the bowl is 7 inches and the base diameter is 3.75 inches. CO NDITION: In tip top condition with no chips or cracks; with whiskery marks and there are a couple of little dings UNDER the edge of the hollow chrome base & one on the top rim {not noticeable but there} commensurate with age/use/handling . POSTAL RATES TO ALL DESTINATIONS : We will pack very carefully in a cardboard box with lots of bubble to ensure safe delivery.
