Fabulous Mid-Century Modern Vase CARL-HARRY STALHANE ROSTRAND STUDIO, Sweden This is an incredible example of the Mid-Century modern Swedish pottery that enamored Americans to its stark simplicity and beauty in the 50's and 60's This vase stands 7 1/2" high It measures approximately 5" wide The glaze is a beautiful mottled turquoise brownish color The shape is pure inspiration Signed on the bottom with the "R" surrounded by three crowns for Rostrand Studio, "Sweden" beneath that and "CHS", the intertwined initials of Carl-Harry Stalhane Superb condition ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ This week's listings include lots of Portmeirion collectibles, Waterford Crystal, Fitz & Floyd, Crown Trifari costume jewelry, Royal Albert/Beatrix Potter figurines, Wedgwood, Tiffany & Co., designer handbags, Ladies Calloway & Tail golf/polo shirts & shorts, a Bobby Jones Navy Blue Sports Coat, Burberry & Brooks Brothers men's clothing, designer men's & women's clothing & accessories and rare, out-of-print books on foxhunting, horse racing and all things equine.
