This is a beautifully manufactured hand held faceting head. It is very similiar to the old world hand held diamond faceters head in looks. It is constructed of aluminum, stainless, brass, and the leg levers are black delrin. All aluminum pieces are black anodized except for the knob on top. The total kit includes the facet head, six brass dops, & machinest protractor for setting angles. The head comes with a 96 space index gear. This unit DOES NOT come with the diamond laps or anything else that may be in the pictures. You will have to buy or fabricate your own motorized spindle lap setup, the one in the picture coming thru my lap table is shown for suggestion purposes only on what you may want to fabricate. This head is perfect for gem faceting and for use by glass artisans who want to facet glass pieces or prisms.
