This cute little fairy bear is Fairy Nuff, she is my own unique design and is a single edition, exclusive to Ebay and direct from the artist.Nuff is completely hand sewn, by myself, from a very fluffy alpaca which I have hand dyed to a pretty pink colour....she has purple ultra suede light for the pads on her feet. Her nose is hand stitched in lilac and she has needle and scissor sculpting around her face. Nuff has black glass eyes and is filled with polyester, steel shot in her tummy and limbs to give her a little weight and, of course, oodles of love. She measures approximately 3" tall and 2.5" sitting. Nuff has hand made glittery, wired wings and she is wearing a beach gem pendant which I have painted with a tiny lilac flower.Nuff has a cotter pin jointed head and thread jointed arms and legs. She also has a sewn in fabric tag and certificate of authenticity in a swing tag style. Please adopt Fairy Nuff today, she would love to flutter into a new home soon.As I was born in Whitby in Yorkshire, I decided to give my bears a piece of Whitby jet to take with them to their new home. However, some of the bears prefer to go down to the beach and find their own treasures. So instead of taking a piece of jet with them these bears will have their very own 'beach gem' or fossil to take to their new hug. Beachcombers will have a 'beach gem' which is a tiny pebble which they have found to be special to them. They bring their pebbles home where I tumble them for days until they turn into shiny 'beach gems'. Fossil Finders will have a partial or whole fossil. These fossils are found by the bears then they bring home to me to clean before taking them to their new hug. Jet was one of the first gems discovered by man. To primitive men it's electrical properties would endow it with magical powers and they would wear it as a talisman' Each bear will carry its jet, gem or fossil in a special hand made pouch, backpack or pocket or wear it as a pendant.
