FAM F2-2 Foreign Air Mail Route No. 2 ~ First FlightVictoria BC - Seattle ~ October 15, 1920 An exceedingly rare cover! Only 50 pcs flown. Condition - see photos for full description, top is cut open, light marks front and back. A picture of this cover can be found in the following article; /AP/Feature1009.pdf Reference: American Air Mail Catalogue 5th Edition, Vol IV FAM routes were assigned by the US Postal Service to US airlines to carry mail between the US and foreign countries. FAM route numbers were designated. The first flights flown between origin and destination were documented by cancellations and special markings on these first flown air mail covers.
