This is a very rare find for the world of roller skating! "ROLL-LAND" rollerskating rink was a famous indoor rollerskating arena rink on Route 1 in Norwood, Massachusetts. This rink also came from the state were the inventor (James L. Plimpton) of the modern style roller skate was a native of. For any sport which featured roller skating, roller derby, roller dance, speed skating, competition figure, or any other related sport, this is a great find. Many a couple from the 1940's to 1980's meet at the roller rink. This beautiful cup stands approximately 5 5/8" tall and the diameter is 2 3/4". The front of the cup says "ROLL LAND CUP" and "NUTS ABOUT ROLLER SKATING"; and has a squirrel (animal) skating as a mascot. This is a truly unusual gift, and it is very rare! Thanks for looking!
