This is vintage - Steri-Lite - Melmac / Melamine Hostess Serving Set - with the serving pieces still in their original advertising paper. This set consists of a large turquoise colored bowl and 2 serving pieces. These serving pieces - a large serving fork and serving spoon - are quite fancy with their lower halves being turquoise - and the handle ends being "silver". These silver colored handles are nicely embossed with flowers and scroll decorations. The bowl measures approx. 10 1/2" in diameter and stands about 4" high. Each serving piece is about 10 1/4" long. The condition of this set is very good - showing no chips or cracks - minimal to no scratching. The advertising paper that houses the serving utensils shows no rips or tears. It states "Hostess Serving Set - Advertised in LIFE - United Plastic Co - Fitchburg Mass ". Fresh from a local estate, this vintage - blast from the past - Steri-Lite Hostess Serving Set would make a nice addition to any collection!
