A very unusual and nice late 1800's or early 1900's Art Nouveau style small oak table or stand. This wonderful parlor table has a beautiful quarter sawn oak top. It top features an unusual scalloped design with four daisy like or flower shaped decorative oak medallions. The four wonderful turned oak legs are connected by very intricate curved Art Nouveau style braces. These unique supports are attached to each leg via a brass screw. They converge in the center to from a circular shape open shelf. This rare and beautiful Victorian era is in very good condition. One of the legs at sometime has been broken and repaired. The break was about 4 1/2 inches from the bottom. The repair is very well done and barely visiable; and does not effect the structural integrity of the table. This unusual occasional table is about 20 inches tall. The top measures about 14 1/2 inches wide and deep. It has a wonderful patina, a beautiful mellow color and an excellant varnished finish. The table would compliment stick & ball furniture, Art Nouveau furniture, Victorian furniture, and even comtemporary furnishings. Buyer pays 19.00 shipping.
