This is really a fantastic Vintage Wind-Up Cane Twirling Hobo Circus Clown. The Wind up mechanism doesn't appear to work but if you swirl his cane he shakes his legs and twirl his cane. He also has a stand-up action as he vigorously shakes his head back and forth. His head and shoes are made of tin-litho. The colors are rich and vivid and in really great condition. His clothing and hair are made of fabric materials. His jacket looks tattered but it may just be the Hobo clothing design. Please see picture. I think in adds to the vintage Hobo Circus Clown look. This fantastic Hobo Circus Clown was made in Japan. From how it was made it looks to me like it was made inthe late 50's-60's time period.Posted with eBay Mobile
