Fantastic RARE Antique 200 Year OldFRENCH WALL CLOCK MOVEMENT w Orig Hand Painted PORCELAIN CLOCK FACE DIAL !I think it reads : "HECHER" or Flecher, or ? and "A Chaumont" (of Chaumont-France)Similar to a "Moblier"WONDERFUL !Got to LooK !Up 4 Grabs !A RARE and Fantastic 200 year old FRENCH CLOCK MOVEMENT with Orig HAND PAINTED CLOCK FACE DIAL! Marked "HECHER" (?) "A Chaumont" (of Chaumont-France).I am not a clock expert so I will try to describe as best as possible; "HECHER" (Is this correct? It could say Flecher or ???) Not sure myself.The is the Clock Movement with Dial ONLY! Please read the condition prior to bidding!The gears turn with some help. The mechanism seems all complete.Condition : The bell is missing. The winding key, the weights & chains, the pendulum are missing. and the access door is missing.The Face & hands are all original and in GREAT condition , with just some slight crazing to the porcelain as seen in the close up pics. Great patina. The lovely Paint is also near mint and in tact / shiny. Very little flaws on the dial. Tiny rusting around the key winding holes (typical). The brass embossed metal collar is WONDERFUL! Great detail .This is a very RARE , Old and beautiful clock !SO BID NOW!!!! 3 DAY AUCTION ONLY!!!As found condition.
