Here is a beautiful antique White's Utica decorated salt glazed stoneware whiskey jug with cobalt highlights. It features a hunt scene in relief with a retriever carrying a rabbit and a second dog watching another rabbit jumping over a fence rail. The jug has tremendous details from top to bottom. It has a branch style handle, a beaded ring around the collar, numerous fleur de lis designs around the shoulder with beaded rings at the top and bottom of the main body, and a deep blue cobalt base. I have put up several photos so you can see the details. It is in excellent condition and I have never before described an item in excellent condition. It is about 7 3/4" high with about a 4 1/2" diameter in the widest part of the body. A great piece of White's Utica Stoneware.
