This is a four book comic sale of Fantastic Four issues number 14,15,16, and 17. Our first book to look at is Fantastic Four #14, which features an appearance of the Submariner. Issue fourteen has a low gloss cover with a very slightly rolled spine. The top left corner of the front cover is detached 2 inches from back page. Actually, the back cover and all inside pages are torn in this same 2 inch vertical manner. T are many small cracks on spine, with bottom left corner of page detached one inch in vertical length from back cover. Corners are blunted, with 2 creases in lower right corner. T are many miniscule chips around the top, bottom, and right side of page. Inside front and inside back covers are very aged. Back cover is very worn with a one inch by two inchchip in upper right hand corner. A one inch horizonal tear exists on left side of middle page. Inside pages are cream and slightly tannish. Comic is intact with no missing pages. This is the fourth appearance of Sub-Mariner in these early issues of the Fantastic Four, and also appears on the cover. The Puppet Master co-stars, he being Alicia Master's uncle. Amateur grade of 2.5 to a 3.0. Issue fifteen introduces the Mad Thinker and his clay-like android. Front cover is low gloss, with a retailer's stamp directly above "a,s, and t" in the Fantastic Four title logo. Spine has moderate wear and is flat. The lower one-third left corner has many creases, and has soiling, with a raised area w moisture damage exists. This can also be seen on the lower right corner of back cover, but it is not as pronounced. All inside pageshave this creases moisture-like area in the lower left corners, but pages are otherwise cream to slightly tan in color. Pages 11 thru 13 are detached from the bottom staple only. T is a small soiled spot in lower right corner. Both corners on right side have a slight sharpness left. T are minor creases throughout front cover. Inside front corner has soiled area at bottom left and bottom of page. Back cover has a crack like crease from top staple diagonally reaching almost middle of upper page. Many minor creases.Amateur of 2.0. Issue 16 has a guest appearance of Ant Man and Dr. Doom. The Wasp has a cameo as well. This comic has a flat cover, and is completely intact. The front cover has many creases throughout, with a major one extending down from the middle of top page to the bottom through the rectangular title in lower right side of page. T is obvious spine chipping in upper left corner, with minor chipping throughout rest of spine. All four corners are abraded. Cover has low gloss reflectivity. T is a minor crease in upper right and lower left of page. Back cover has many creases and wear, with a one inch horizonal tear from the left side of middle page. T is light staining in the lower right and upper right of paper. Inside pages are cream to tan in appearance. Amateur grade of 3.0. Our last comic to discuss is Fantastic Four 17 with another appearance of Dr. Doom. The front cover is slightly glossy with very few creases. T are minimal cracks on spine, but t is a soiled area from middle of spine to about 4 and a half inches up. It is more pronounced in the inside of front cover. Corners are slightly abraded. Not a bad looking cover for its age. Inside pages are cream, comic is flat and intact. Back cover is worn, with a soiled diagonal line extending from about the (one third down of the spine, over about 6 inches) middle bottom of page. T are a multitude of small stains throughout page.
