Hello and thanks for checking out my comic book listings. My name is Dave Reynolds and I have been buying and selling vintage comic books for over 20 years. This listing is for: FANTASTIC FOUR #9, December 1962. This book is graded an apparent 1.0. Fair, with about 1/6 of an ad page torn away. The pages are Cream colored, about an Owl 7. This is still a solid lower grade book with everything attached and the partially torn out ad page does not affect the story at all. The covers also have heavy wear, creasing and staining with numerous edge tears and chips. The covers also have some fairly heavy moisture staining as seen in the scans. Lastly one story page and also another ad page both have a moderately large hole near the middle area and on the story page the hole does take out some art on both sides of the page. Classic early Silver Age from Marvel featuring a fantastic Sub-Mariner cover by Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers! Interior story art also by Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers, story written by Stan Lee. Great item!
