Fantastic Huge Rust Kiku Vintage Silk Kimono Panel Description : Lots of great new panels this month as well as those that you may have missed in previous ones. Enjoy browsing! MAKE SURE THAT YOU CLICK THE PICTURES FOR LARGER IMAGES!!!!! Now are some BIG kiku for you. A vintage omeshi silk in a creamy off-white. The kiku are woven in rust with flower centers woven in a burnished metallic gold. This os one of those omeshi silks that has a usable reverse side as well. See the final photo for a front to back comparison. As this is an omeshi silk it has a slightly heavier hand than a standard kimono silk, but is not as heavy as a brocade. It also has a bit of a tooth but is not scratchy. This piece is in great condition with some small spots of scattered patina.
