For Sale is our beloved and brilliant Kawai L1 piano. Bought to learn piano on but i now have a real piano so this is surplus to requirements. This piano plays and looks beautifully. The main reasons we decided on this particular model is that it takes up no room in our small flat as it is incredibly narrow and is thinner than any other piano on the market. At only 27.2cm deep, the L1 digital piano will fit in virtually any available space. This stylish instrument also uses Kawai's critically acclaimed Harmonic Imaging sound technology, reproducing the sound of the world's finest piano, the Kawai EX Concert Piano, with remarkable depth, expression and realism. On top of that it is hammer weighted keys and plays very expressively. The other functions that will appeal to any serious musician are the onboard recording facility, full midi controller and i used it through my mac using logic and garageband, loads of preset sounds and the built in speakers. I tended to play it silently using the headphone socket. Comes with sustain pedal. This is a serious bit of kit, a full size digital piano from Kawai who are market leaders in this area, i tried Rolands, Casios and Yamaha equivalents and this one was light years ahead.
