Fantastic MINT WW2 USAAF Patched Ike Jacket Grouping!!!

Offered today is a superb grouping of U.S. Army Air Force uniforms from the Second World War. The lot consists of two "Ike" jackets and the original trousers and belt. All three of these pieces were purchased together and, although they are not named, obviously belonged to the same individual. The first Ike, pictured in the center of the group photo, is a fantastic, high quality tailor made piece which has many of the hallmarks of having most likely been made in England. It sports a super nice theater made embroidery on cut edge blue wool felt USAAF shoulder patch as well as green embroidered private's stripes (they look lighter in the photo because of the flash) and a specialty patch on the lower right sleeve depicting a weathervane which denoted "Weather Specialist." The USAAF adopted the shoulder patch in 1943 and I believe this particular piece dates from right around 43 - 44. The jacket has nice large tan buttons and is completely lined in purple / mauve satin. It also has distinctly scalloped pocket flaps and snaps on both the flaps and waist band to keep the uniform smart looking. This jacket is a size 35 regular. The other Ike shown appears to be standard issue, 1944-45 dated inside the inner pocket, and also has the USAAF shoulder patch and wool corporal's chevrons.
