For sale is this fantastic original painting of a mallard rising, signed TD. I have tried very hard to figure out who the artist is but this is all I have come up with: It is inscribed on the back 'To Mandy from Terry 7/4/01' and the T in Terry is very similar to the T in the monogram, so there may be a clue there, but then if it was a gift directly from the artist, why would it have a gallery label on it? The painting has an 'Art Directions, Bangor' gallery label, so probably an Irish artist, but that gallery no longer exists, so no help there. I absolutely love this painting, the detail and the flurry in which the mallard is painted and the contrast between the vividness of the bird and the brown reed bed of the background is just great. Really wish I knew who this was by so I could price it appropriately, but as it is I don't, so it starts at 99p and good luck, hope you love it as much as I do. Condition: Excellent. The painting is in mint condition, completely untouched in its original frame. The frame is in very good condition, a couple of very minor scuffs on the corners.
