FANTASTIC WOODEN BOOK ALI IBN ABI TALEB: This is another fantastic hand made wooden Islamic book by the artist Ali Issa . This book is about Imam Ali Bin Abi Taleb , the Cousin & Son-In-Law of prophet Muhammad . The cover is made of hand-carved Oak Wood with the name of Ali made of Copper metal embossed on the front. On the top of the front cover , t is a verse from Koran made of Copper too; and embossed on the upper border. The spine is also made of wood and covered by a patch of cloth . This is not a hand written book; but a printed one. The text is written in 4 languages : Arabic , French , English , and Japanese . It is formed of 88 leaves with 176 pages ; and more than 130 illustrations and ornaments by Ali Issa . The text is about Ali, his ideas , some facsimiles of Koran verses, and some texts about him written by other Islamic Jurisprudences. The book is heavy ( 1.25 Kg ) , so its shipping cost is high . It measures 12.5" x 9.5" x 1.5". You get exactly what you see in the scans.
