Decorative Chicken Egg This decorative egg has been crafted by hand. It is made from a real chicken egg shell. The content of the egg have been removed and then sterilized. The wholes used in this process have been covered for a complete look. The design has been applied to the front and back of the egg with decorative painting between and around the pictures. Several layers of a high gloss, non-toxic, waterbased polyurethane have then been applied for a beautiful glass like finish. Included with the egg is the wood egg stand seen in the photo. Each stand has a felt pad bottom to help prevent the scratching of surfaces. Chicken eggs in the stand are approx. 3 inches high. Each chicken egg will be gift boxed (wrapping is not included).
