Amazing Farcot Ornate Antique French Cartel Wall Clock, Heavy Brass, 20" H x 13 3/8" W x 3" Deep. Serial #47046. This clock was made sometime between 1858 and 1885 Used, sold As-Is, needs tlc and restoration. See pics for various stamps and makers marks. I wanted to polish the parts for pics but was convinced to leave the patina intact for the buyer to deal with however they choose. This clock will polish up very nicely, no external dents or damage aside from the missing parts and the potential modification listed below. The clock is missing the pendulum,key and hands, a couple mounting pins that align the round clockwork section to the frame, etc. The operational integrity is unknown. I have no key to test the springs. The existing clockwork looks to be in pretty good condition but I am no expert. I do not know what all, if anything else is missing, please see the pics. To give you an idea of what size hands will be needed: the measurement from the center pin to the outside edge of the porcelain number areas is about 2 1/2". The square key that will be needed looks to be somewhere between 3-3.5 mm. The only rust present is on the steel of the gong and on the 3 steel screws that hold the movement to the wooden inner-frame section.
