This is a rare OBJECT of VIRTUE hand painted enamel on solid silver lipstick holder made in Italy ca.1935 . It has Hallmark FI 800 on inner holder. The front of it showing romantic scenery of a young couple, the colorful glass enameling with pastoral lovely scene fascinated every one. This lipstick holder has been used, it has some lipstick residue. The entire exterior is heavily engraved, richly chased with flower leaf design gold-washed throughout . Measures 2 1/4" long by 3/4" square, the mirror is in vintage condition. This wonderful lipstick holder weights 1.15 oz. It is 800 silver. Made in Italy. it is showing minor signs of used and aged. However It is in it's vintage excellent condition. It closes tight. No dints or chips.
