Guitar & Bass Winter 2008 magazine You are bidding on a 62 reissue full prewired assembly ready to load into your guitar, all you need to do is connect the 2 wires to the jack socket and 1 wire to the trem claw. This set is top quality in the form of parts, build and TONE. THIS SET IS FITTED WITH FOIL SHIELDING NO ALLY SHIELD - £165.00 !!!!!! These prewired sets are constructed from NEW parts and have NOT been removed from second hand guitars. I build these to look old so everything under the guard is NEW - pots, switch, wire, cap etc......... Plastics feature - 3 ply aged green guard, wide vintage rolled bevel edge, countersunk pickup and switch holes fitted with aged screws, superficial crack which does not go through the guard(i can leave out if required) slight simulated screw pull, dirt build up, creme knobs, covers and tips (knobs have oxidised green numbers and letters) Aged handwound pickups wound by myself at my workshop on the Isle of Wight. Alnico V aged magnets with a special stagger that can be used with vintage or modern radius necks, plain enamel 42 gauge wire, Neck 6.0K, Middle 6.2K (RW/RP), Bridge 6.6K (NO Base plate) cloth 22 gauge wire, potted in Isle of Wight beeswax.
