This is a wonderful aesthetic style silver pitcher marked F.B. Rogers 1888, Taunton, Mass. Quadruple Plate. I believe FB Rogers became National Silver. It stands about 7" tall, 7 1/2" wide from widest part of base to handle. Across the top it's about 4" wide. It is a sturdy piece. It has about 4 large dents on the main part and the silver is quite worn. The top has a wonderful modernistic design with flowers and zig zag lines, while the main body has more a typical aesthetic Japanese look to it, with figures in kimonos, a crane, a boat on the water, buildings. The handle looks like tree branches. Overall, a nice unusual piece! Very decorative and would be a nice vase. Shipping to be determined.
