Antique Federal Style Carved Dark Gold Wood & Gesso/ Plaster Eagle 'Constitution' Mirror. Rectangular frame with bell flowers, crest surmounted by an Eagle above wheat sheaf and 13 star oval cartouche, rosette scrolls to the sides & garland swagged base. Unknown circa & provenance. Mirror possibly replaced 3/9/34 (date wrote on the mirror backing). Measures approximately 45" H x 20 1/2" W. Mirror inset measures approximately 26"H x 16"W. In overall fair to good unrestored aged condition with some areas of gesso or plaster loss and surface wear. Great early paint patina! See pics for condition evaluation. SOLD AS IS CONDITION.
