This is my excellent Mexican Fender Classic 50's Stratocaster. It is in stunning Dakota Red with lovely unmarked high gloss neck and finger board. The guitar looks, feels and plays like new, although it was made in 2001. It has the benefit of upgraded Fender Custom Shop Fat Fifties pickups and a 3 play aged mint green scratch plate as introduced by Fender in 1959. The wiring has been modified to give you tone control at the bridge pickup and this gives you a lovely tele like twang for a bit more versatility. I have had the guitar set up and re-strung with Ernie Ball hybrid light heavies which give you a really nice low end and some serious twang on the high strings. There is minimal fret wear The guitar comes in an as new Tweed hard case to finish of the 50's theme. The guitar is lovely and you are welcome to give it any trial or inspection. I prefer collection and payment on collection but will courier for an additional £30 if needed.
