Fender Squier Stratocaster made in Korea. Manufactured at the Saehan factory in 1998 from the serial number. These are arguably one of the best Fender made Squiers ever produced. Korean Stratocasters have an excellent reputation for build quality with the sought after Japanese models and arguably better than the Fender labelled Mexican Strats. Certainly way above their Chinese counterparts and as such are highly regarded. Look at the internet forums which are full of praise for the Korean made Stratocasters. There are a few marks and dings on the body and at the 9th fret which in no way affect its playability. I have done my best to photograph these. The neck is straight and the frets are still as new. Selling due to lack of use as I mostly play an acoustic. The guitar was restrung with Ernie Ball super slinky 9's about 8 months ago, and stays in tune remarkably well ! The maple necked versions are much rarer than the rosewood It has the full bodied sound of a genuine Fender with a real Strat tone from the three pickups and 5 position switch and played through a reasonable amp you would be hard pushed to tell this apart from a USA strat.
