Fenton 12 inch Dinner Plate Silvercrest This type of dinner plate Fenton made are great plates for serving dinners with on especially special occasions with guests that you want to impress. They measure about 12 inches across. Fenton made other than a TORTE PLATE which is 15 inches as well as a 12-1/2" dinner plate but the 12 inch plates are older. These would have been made in the late 1940's and into about the mid 1950s. I do see some manufacture defects throughout this which is not uncommon for a larger & older pieces like these. This is the only one of these I have to sell. The glass is more a skim milk color rather than whole milk coloring. Again, this was the color of the glass in the 1950's that Fenton produced. Other than the what I mentioned before, I see no chips, cracks, or repairs, Please also keep in mind that these have been previously owned and used and condition may reflect this. I do want to say also that this plate is one of the nicest colored, and largest ribbon edge that I have seen for this style of plate. The ribbon (silvercresting) around this is about 3/8 to a 1/4 of an inch wide all around. The plate is also deep for this style plate also. I don't have the power to measure the depth every well but I would guess it to be about 1 inch or so. It is a very nice plate and one you will enjoy to have and own.
