FENTON "DRAGONFLY ON SKY BLUE" CATNew old stock from a former Fenton dealer, up for bid is a striking cat made in Fenton's Sky Blue glass. Sky Blue is a color that Fenton introduced in 2007 - one of the Company's final years before going out of business in 2011 - and is often not found. This light, bright, refreshing blue color is very spring-like with its glossy finish. It is an opaque glass that is partially translucent on the cat's ears. This cat is hand-painted in a pattern designed by Stacy Williams called "Dragonfly on Sky Blue". It features a green and blue dragonfly with veiny white wings. The signature of the artist who painted this cat appears on the underside base of the cat covered by the original retail label. This cat was Fenton's ware number #5065 7Q. This cat is approximately 5" tall. An embossed Fenton logo is on the lower back-side base of the cat, and there is an oval, silver, paper Fenton label.
