WELCOME CARNIVAL GLASS COLLECTORS! Item Description: This is a beautiful, old Fenton KITTENS Vase or Toothpick in gorgeous BLUE base glass - 2 5/8 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches wide with wonderful MULTI-COLOR iridescence! This is a truly wonderful piece of vintage Fenton. Really pleasing colors on this fantastic little piece, you will love the iridescence...it is superb! It is an old vintage piece, not marked. It really lights up in natural light. I've seen these called vases and I've seen them called toothpicks. The height favors a vase by definition, but the sides are not smooth and it is obviously whimsey from a plate. So I will leave it to the buyer to decide. In any case, it is a superior example of this pattern and this color. It is beautiful on display and an excellent investment quality piece of glass. I have included several photos of the piece so you can see for yourself. It looks even better in your hands as it is always very difficult to capture a piece like this on film and do it justice. You can reference this piece in David Doty's 1998 Field Guide to Carnival Glass or The Encyclopedia to Carnival Glass and Edwards and Carwile. I guarantee this is authentic, early 1900's vintage Carnival Glass! All pictures were taken outside in natural light...no flash. I never enhance photos, what you see is what you get.
