FENTON CARNIVAL GLASS Orange Tree IRIDESCENT MUG SET of 2 Up for your consideration is this matching Set of 2 very old Fenton Carnival Glass Iridescent Mugs in the lovely Orange Tree pattern. The mugs have raised Orange Tree design going all around them. I truly do not know the exact color of these, as they are getting harder to come by. They are iridescent, and change colors due to the lighting. The colors will range from a gold tone---to teal-blue/green and purple. I've never seen the colors quite like these before. They each have the 5 sided handle, and measure 3 1/2" tall, 3 3/8" in diameter across top, and 2 5/8" across base. One has a scratch on the inside bottom. (not noticeable, unless looking for it) Both are in Excellent Overall Condition. These would be a nice addition to your carnival glass collection, or a really nice gift. To answer a few questions on the color---When you hold these mugs up to inside light, the main body is a gold-tone, reddish, and some purple color. The handles, base, and rim all have colors of green & blue. I do not know the color name, and have been told it could possibly be amethyst---however I am an expert, and not positive. Inside light they appear to be darker, and outside light, lighter.
