This is SUPER RARE IN CELESTE BLUE! Also scarce smooth ball feet!! This in one of my very own personal "favorites" piece!! Outstanding Fenton CELESTE BLUE Carnival "Grape and Cable" Bowl with the scarce 3 smooth ball footings circa 1911-1925!! Mint/Near Mint Condition with no chips, cracks or chiggars. I was told by an expert in glassware that Fenton added uranium salts to their glass recipe to make their sapphire and celeste blue colored glass so if its sapphire or celeste blue it would fluoresce the green of vaseline/flint glass under black light (which it does but my camera does not take black light pictures well but I attempted to show the fluoresce in pic # 4). I am also in possession of other pieces of Fenton blues (cobalt & a medium blue) made around the same time and none of them fluoresce as this piece does! All pictures but the black light picture are taken in indirect natural sunlight an not enhanced in anyway ( I have now changed out picture 5 and 6 which shows the bowl in a different lighting without the trees/grass playing on the color)! DEFINATELY A TOP SHELF PIECE ! On website this piece is listed for $900-1500! SUPER IRIDESCENT COLORS!!! PINKS, REDS, BLUES, GREENS!! ALL THE COLORS OF THE RAINBOW!! Measures a nice big 8 inches in diameter and stands just a little over 3 1/2 inches tall. Don't let this beauty slip read more
