Fenton Hobnail Milk Glass Egg Cup #3647 Very "Rare" - Produced from 1970 - 1971 4" Tall 6 Panel Scalloped Glass Pattern 2-3/4 Diameter at the Top 2-1/4 Diameter at the Base 12 Rows of Hobs This rare egg cup was found in my deceased 100-year old grandmother's attic, still in the shopping bag from the day she purchased it nearly 38 years ago, along with other Fenton items! Due to the condition it was found, and knowing what a pack-rat she was, I don't think this item was ever displayed in her home. I have attached a picture of the receipt from the Fenton Gift Shop dated April 8, 1970, which was found in the shopping bag with the egg cup and other Fenton items. Also notice the sticker price tag inside the egg cup, which shows it was purchased at The Fenton Gift Shop in Williamstown, West Virginia. Due to it's age, the price on the price tag sticker has faded and is unknown, but I'm sure it is one of the items on the receipt. This Fenton Egg Cup is in excellent-to-mint condition. It has no cracks or breaks. A very, very small rough spot on the bottom, and color variations at the top (as seen in the close-up view of the price tag sticker) appears to be part of the original glass manufacturing.
