Fenton Daisy and Button Slipper Queen (Green)Approx. 6" long. What is this item? Fenton Fenton Art Glass Company manufactures several different designs of slippers and boots, including the hobnail, daisy and button and cat discussed above. Daisy and ButtonThe term daisy and button refers to a moulded surface texture which incorporates a moulded round floret and a smaller moulded round button which can either be raised or recessed. Cat or Cat Head If a piece is designated as a cat or a cat head boot or slipper, that means that the upper front portion of the piece has a moulded flourish that resembles a cat head and paw in profile. Note: A daisy and button shoe or a hobnail shoe can also be a cat shoe (and often is). What should I know about this particular item? PLEASE NOTE: This item has 2 small chips. One is located on the cat's ear, (Picture 9), and the other on the top underside part of the sole of the shoe, (Picture 10). (Can't really be seen, but felt). This item also shows pressurized markings that we believe were from the manufacturer, or from heavy weight on the figure, (as shown in Picture 7). Overall, this item is in excellent condition, and shows no major damage or wear. This item is being sold AS IS, No Returns Accepted.
